Durable driveway surface options include asphalt, concrete, and pavers. Most driveway paving companies specialize in one type of surface, but at Just Paving, we do all three and more!
For more information about which surface is best for your needs, call to speak to one of our experts today!
Residential driveways typically use two to three inches of asphalt. A three-inch thickness is suitable to support occasional large trucks or heavy equipment. Underneath the asphalt, you should have six to eight inches of granular base aggregate.
Many seasonal driveway paving companies neglect to establish support for their work, resulting in more frequent repairs. For a company you can count on, call us!
The short answer is yes! Keep in mind that being able to do so depends on the structural integrity of your existing driveway. Although some driveway paving companies may say yes to every project, we at Just Paving want to make sure an asphalt overlay is the proper solution for your driveway.
When it's effective to do so, our contractors will apply a tack coat on the existing asphalt surface to help the new asphalt adhere. If you have more questions about this process, or are looking for an opinion on YOUR driveway, call us today!
Normally, 24 hours is all that is required to use your new asphalt surface. In very warm weather, we recommend staying off the fresh asphalt for one to two days, as the surface cools at a slower rate.
Of all the driveway paving companies in the area, you can trust Just Paving to do the best work for you — no matter the season!
Both extreme cold and extreme heat make for a poor asphalt installation. During installation, cold temperatures can prevent asphalt from properly binding. This causes traveling.
On the other hand, extreme heat can cause new asphalt to melt, slough, and bruise. This prevents the asphalt from being properly cured.
Many necessary driveway and parking lot repairs can be attributed to an issue with the curing process.
We accept checks, cash, and all major credit cards for all projects, including parking lot repairs.
